Influencer Paul Kim is paying tribute to his son nearly six months after Micah’s death.

“It’s been nearly 6 months since Jesus welcomed Micah home to eternal life,” Kim wrote via Instagram on Friday, June 26. “I’ve cried every day since. I still can’t believe he’s not here physically like he used to be; smiling, laughing, dancing, raiding the pantry, and giving me the best hugs and kisses. But in a way that is both mysterious and tangible, Micah never really left.”

Kim shared that before he and his family “said goodbye” to Micah in the hospital, he told his son that he “needed to come and say hi to us every day from Heaven.”

“Micah is a very sweet and obedient son and stayed true to that deal. In addition to all the thoughtful and funny ways he leaves me signs, I have continued to receive daily testimonies from people who have been helped by his intercessory prayers before the throne of God.”

He continued, “Micah is not dead, he is alive… Because we serve the God of the living, not the dead. I love you bubba. I couldn’t be prouder. I can’t wait to see you. Help me, mommy, and your siblings to be brave and faithful till Jesus calls us home too.”

In December 2025, Kim shared that his son was in the hospital and on life support following a “medical emergency.” While Micah’s lungs showed slow improvement on a ventilator and doctors gradually reduced life support, a subsequent MRI revealed severe brain damage. Micah died later that month.

Since Micah’s death, Kim has honored his late son on social media. On Sunday, June 29, Kim shared a photo of him and his wife and their six children from one year prior.

“We took this picture as a family exactly one year ago. I wish we could go back somehow. I wish Micah were still alive in his body. But unfortunately, this is our new reality. This is the cross we carry,” he wrote via Instagram. “The death of a child is always jarring. Not only for the family who experiences the loss, but for everyone who comes to learn about it as well. When it comes to Micah, his sickness brought millions of people together. They all joined in prayer and concern over his well being. When he passed away, millions cried and felt the blow of this tragedy. But there was still another chapter that would be written.”
