Yudhra is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ravi Udyawar and written by Shridhar Raghavan (screenplay), Farhan Akhtar and Akshat Ghildial (dialogues). The film was made by Excel Entertainment in association with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. It stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, Raghav Juyal, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun and Shilpa Shukla.
Apart from Yudhra, the rest of his movies hit the theatres on 20 September 2024 and were opened to mixed reviews from the critics.
Yudhra | While recovering from his anger management issues, Yudhra goes undercover to bring down Firoz and his son Shafiq who run an infamous drug cartel. Yudhra is blamed, because he wants his revenge on Firoz who murdered his mom and dad.

The songs for the film are composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and Prem–Hardeep and the background score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. The chartbuster tracks are written by Javed Akhtar and Raj Ranjodh. First single “Saathiya” released on 1 September 2024. On 9 September 2024, it came up with its second single Sohni Lagdi. 12 September 2024: “Hatt Jaa Baaju” (3rd single)

Times Now’s Tanmayi Savadi gave it 3.5/5 stars, and said, “Yudhra is dark, delicious and daring.” It’s immediate, and somehow the film feels surprisingly suspenseful and boasting. So we have 2 new action action superstars in the making here Siddhant or Raghav!.”
While Yudhra might simply satiate our action hunger and be a good entertainer with its slick and novel sequences, it disappoints a bit more with its subplot, mostly depending on clichés and average premises,News18s Nishad Thaivalappil wrote as he rated the film 3/5 stars. It is a well-worn tale and although it plays out exactly how we’d expect, its still an enjoyable film, especially if you are a fan of over-the-top action thrillers with a romantic edge.”
Lachmi Deb Roy gave the film a 3/5 rating in Firstpost: “But despite it being an average story-telling, you can’t deny that Yudhra is to be one of the bigger action spectacles this year. Those explosive bike chase sequences filmed on the crowded streets of Mumbai will definitely pound your pulse as it races. Giving it a 3/5 star review, The Times of India wrote, “Yudhra is technically sound. You love the crazy world building and the genius action set pieces but not so much the emotional baggage of it all.
Awarding the film 3/5 stars, they said, “Yudhra does fall victim to a clichéd and predictable storyline overall but works as a decent watch thanks to direction and performances.” Sana Farzeen of India Today awarded it 2.5/5 stars and said, “In summary, Yudhra sits somewhere between a throughly ambitious, if flawed, if not just a bit missed opportunity. The sort of movie that you desperately want to love, but you never fully connect with the madness unfolding before you.
Yudhra boasts of some amazing action sequences, but Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan’s film ends up feeling underwhelming owing to a stretched and cliched narrative. Giving the film 2.5/5 stars, Abishek Balaji of The New Indian Express said “Yudhra is a wasted opportunity. It struggles to strike a balance, marooned in the sea of mildly interesting.
However, Rediff’s Sukanya Verma scored 2/5 stars: “There are enough loopholes in this lazily scrawled plot for it to be an entirely different film and just as crummy. The Indian Express’ Shubhra Gupta wrote in her review, ‘Yudhra does achieve a few resets, but it creaks at a lot of beats too: so you have a few zip zip set-pieces, quickly followed by a whole lot of slackness and predictable moves — and a touchlongish run-time, too.’
Rishabh Suri Hindustan Times Yudhra had a lot of potential. Such a great cast, and such a supple–stretchable story but ends up nothing but a total fucking bummer. On its opening day, film made ₹4.52 crores at the box office in India. The film ended its boxoffice journey with worldwide collections of ₹ 11.31 crores.
