
South Indian OTT platforms are serving up a packed lineup this week, with everything from intense crime thrillers and action comedies to heartfelt romances and family dramas. Whether you’re in the mood for a suspense-filled sequel, a village mystery, or a light-hearted comedy series, streaming services have something fresh to offer. Leading the list is Mohanlal’s much-awaited Drishyam 3, but several Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam titles are also making their digital debut over the next few days.
Drishyam 3 – Prime Video
The much-anticipated Malayalam crime thriller Drishyam 3 is now streaming on Prime Video. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film marks the return of Mohanlal as Georgekutty, the character who has become synonymous with one of Indian cinema’s most successful thriller franchises. The film also stars Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. It premiered on June 18.
This latest chapter shifts focus from external threats to Georgekutty’s internal struggles. As memories of the past continue to haunt him, he finds himself battling fear and uncertainty while trying to protect his family. The film is available in Malayalam, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
Dhairye Sahase Amrutha – Aha Video
Telugu romantic drama Dhairye Sahase Amrutha arrived on Aha Video on June 18. Directed by Bharath Papineni, the film features Dinesh Koushika, Veni Rao, Rodda Yadagiri, and Vijaya Kumar Paluri in key roles.
The story follows individuals dealing with emotional crossroads, complicated relationships, and life-changing decisions. Mixing romance with drama, the film explores how love and courage influence the choices people make when faced with difficult circumstances.
Athiradi – SonyLIV
Malayalam action-comedy Athiradi begins streaming on SonyLIV from June 19. Directed by Arun Anirudhan, the film stars Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Riya Shibu, Shaan Rahman, Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, and Vishnu Agasthya.
The plot revolves around Samkutty, an enthusiastic engineering student determined to bring back a college festival that has been banned. However, his mission soon turns into a chaotic battle of egos when he clashes with Sreekuttan, an aspiring singer with a troubled past. The rivalry sets off a chain of hilarious and unpredictable events.
Razor – Aha Video
Another Telugu release heading to OTT this week is Razor, which premieres on Aha Video on June 19. The action thriller is directed by Ravi Babu, who also leads a cast that includes Tanish, Inaya Sultana, Baby Tejal Vikhyathi, Banerjee, and Veeranna Chowdary.
The film centres on a pet groomer whose ordinary life takes a dramatic turn when he unexpectedly becomes responsible for a young girl. As danger closes in from multiple directions, he must do everything possible to keep her safe, leading to a tense survival story packed with suspense.
Kenatha Kanom – JioHotstar
Tamil drama Kenatha Kanom started streaming on JioHotstar on June 16. Directed by Suresh Sangaiah, the film stars Yogi Babu, Lovelyn Chandrasekhar, Raichal Rabecca Philip, and George Maryan.
Set in a village struggling with severe drought, the story follows residents searching for a centuries-old well that has mysteriously disappeared.
