Vivo has officially confirmed the India launch date for the Vivo T5 Lite 5G, with the smartphone set to debut next week as the successor to the Vivo T4 Lite. Ahead of its launch, the company has revealed that the handset will be available via Flipkart and will feature a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a large 6,500mAh battery, and two colour options.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G launch set for July 16

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will launch in India on July 16 at 12 PM IST. Official teasers showcase the smartphone in light blue and black colour options, featuring a dual rear camera setup. The company has also confirmed that the handset will be available for purchase through Flipkart following its launch.

Big battery and smoother display confirmed

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, offering a significant upgrade over its predecessor. The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness, while power will come from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

Durability and AI features onboard

Vivo has revealed that the T5 Lite 5G will offer military-grade durability along with an IP65-rated dust and water-resistant build. It will run Origin OS 6 based on Android and include several AI-powered features, such as AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents and Private Space, aimed at improving productivity and privacy.

Successor to the Vivo T4 Lite 5G

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will succeed last year’s Vivo T4 Lite 5G, bringing notable upgrades in battery capacity, charging speed and display technology. Vivo and Flipkart have already created dedicated microsites for the device, with the company expected to reveal additional hardware details ahead of the official launch.
