Disney Park to Shutter Slew of Attractions at End of Summer Season

For many Disney fans, summer represents something special.

It’s the season when families finally take that long-awaited vacation, annual passholders squeeze in one more visit before school returns, and international travelers arrive hoping to experience every attraction on their must-do list. Across Disney parks worldwide, summer is often viewed as the grand finale before the quieter months begin.

That’s why guests tend to pay close attention when ride closures start appearing on the calendar.

At first glance, a single refurbishment may not seem unusual. Disney parks routinely maintain attractions to keep experiences operating safely and efficiently. But when several popular rides begin disappearing from availability within the same month, fans start asking bigger questions about how those closures could impact the overall guest experience.

And now, Disneyland Paris visitors heading into August are finding themselves facing exactly that situation.

A Growing List of Attractions Is Going Offline

According to refurbishment updates shared by DLP Report, several attractions across Disneyland Paris are scheduled for closures throughout August 2026.

The schedule currently includes:

  • Orbitron reopening August 1 after a brief closure beginning July 27
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant closing August 17 through August 28
  • Avengers Assemble: Flight Force closing August 24 through August 28
  • RC Racer Parachute Drop closing beginning August 31
  • Peter Pan’s Flight closing beginning August 31 with no reopening date currently listed

Individually, none of these closures would likely generate major concern.

Together, however, they paint a very different picture for guests visiting during one of the resort’s busiest travel periods.
